Door of Hope Church Mission Statement

Biblical Mandate
Isaiah 61:1-3

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me,
Because the LORD has anointed me
to bring good news to the afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives
And freedom to prisoners;
To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
To grant those who mourn in Zion,
Giving them a garland instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning,
The mantle of praise instead of the spirit of fainting.
So they will be called oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.

Core Values

Door of Hope Church's core values stems out of God's holiness, righteousness, love and grace. Door of Hope Church's passion is for people to come into relationship with God through Jesus Christ and that all children of God experience freedom. Our core values encapsulate our heart for ministry.
  1. Trinitarian God- Father (God), Jesus Christ (Son) and Holy Spirit. Door of Hope Church serves a Living and Active God who is involved in history and our daily lives. A Trinitarian God who is the same yesterday, today and forever.

  2. Holy Spirit (gifts / baptism)- Door of Hope Church believes the Holy Spirit indwells the moment of salvation. The Spirit makes available to each believer gifts for advancing the Kingdom of God. The Spirit also equips believers to walk in the fullness of Christ. We believe that God wants to baptize (fill) the believer to draw people into a more intimate relationship with God.

  3. Evangelism- Door of Hope Church has a deep passion to see the unbeliever come into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. This is their ultimate destiny.

  4. Reconciliation / Restoration- Door of Hope Church believes that God is a God of reconciliation and restoration. God longs to reconcile and restore His relationship with you through His Son, Jesus Christ. God gives each of us a ministry of reconciliation to aid in the restoration of our interpersonal relationships.

  5. Healing- Healings are for NOW! Healings were not something just experienced when Jesus walked the Earth but people will experience healings today. Healings will be manifested as a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

  6. Biblical Knowledge- That people understand what the Word of God says about them, and for the world.

  7. Kingdom Work- That God's will be done, and not ours. We Exist to give glory to God and not to be humankind pleasers.

  8. Discipleship / Equipping- Door of Hope Church desire that people become Disciples of Christ. That each person be built up (discipled) and equipped to do their part for the Kingdom of God. God has a plan for your life, and we long to see that destiny come into the fullness of what God has called. Door of Hope Church is training up soldiers for the end times.

  9. Fellowship- That people become connected with believers and non-believers and develop house groups for Bible study, fellowship, worship and prayer. A group that is accountable to one another in their spiritual growth and areas of weakness. Cultivating an atmosphere of hope, love and faith.

Dynamics of Door of Hope Church

  • God's Kingdom- God's will be done- on earth as it is in Heaven. Door of Hope Church longs to advance the Kingdom of God, that all may experience the fullness of His Kingdom in their lives, in their community, in their schools, in this country and world.
  • Word of Truth- Door of Hope Church embraces the living Word of God and desires to equip people with the Word of God. All scripture is given by inspiration of God (2Timothy 3:16).
  • Pursuing Holiness- God is a Holy God that desires that we pursue holiness. Door of Hope Church is in this pursuit. We seek the things of God, and do not embrace what the world calls 'right and good'; rather what a Holy God calls right. We are not legalistic in this pursuit, but walk in the freedom of the spirit.
  • Healing Ministry/ School- Through this ministry and school people will be healed (in Jesus Name) from past relationships, generational sins, addictions, homosexuality, world religions, broken families, depression, sexual perversion, and a multitude of other things. Door of Hope Church will professionally train others in our school of ministry.
  • Discipleship- Discipleship classes that prepare you to walk in victory, build you up as a soldier in God's army, and sending you out to do ministry that God has called you to.
  • Freedom- Door of Hope Church will walk in the freedom of God. We believe you do not have to embrace a life of habitual sin; rather embrace a life of grace and freedom. Christ has come to set the captives free.
  • Worship in Spirit and Truth- True worship is a person to God experience flowing from our spirit to honor and give glory to Jesus. True worship flows from the depth of our hearts, it is something that can not be manufactured or duplicated. Worship flows out of relationship.
  • Restoration- brought to those caught in sexual perversion, drugs, addictions, abuse, destructive relationship and much more.
